We returned from our annual family camping trip yesterday.  This year was a doozie.  It seemed like I put in more time preparing for this trip than any camping trip ever.  It was a ton of work for some reason.  When we finally did get there, it rained and rained and rained.  I know we got over 3 inches of rain on Monday.  It also rained on Friday and Saturday and Sunday and Tuesday.  If you asked me today when will be the next time I do that again, the answer will be never.  I've had my fill for a while.  Camping is supposed to be relaxing and fun, not work, work, work.

This fricking negative attitude is going to kill me.

Time has been getting away from me lately. Seems like everyday just disappears before I know it.

Ava is getting big, and is smiling and talking more each day. 

School is out for the summer.  Remember those days?  How good it felt to have all of that free time.  Three of my co-workers retired last Friday.  They're getting that old feeling back right now too.  I hope I'm lucky enough to retire some day.  Sounds swell.
